IPTV on Your Smart TV: Set Up ZorbaIPTV on Samsung, LG and More

No extra box, no installer visit. Find out which system your TV runs, which player its store offers, and where your ZorbaIPTV login goes, with honest notes for Roku TV owners.

To install IPTV on a smart TV, open your TV's own app store, install an IPTV player, then enter your login in that player. That is the whole process on most Samsung, LG and Google TV sets. You do not need a separate box. ZorbaIPTV sends the login in the format your chosen player expects, whether that is three fields, one playlist link or a code linked to your TV.

The catch is that each TV brand runs its own system, and each system has its own store. A player that is easy to find on an LG may be missing on a Samsung. Smart TV IPTV gets simple once you know which system you have. This page sorts that out first, then walks you through each platform step by step.

Step One: Find Out Which System Your TV Runs

A smart TV is a regular TV with a small computer inside. That computer runs an operating system, just like a phone does. The system decides which app store you see, and the store decides which IPTV players you can install. So the brand on the front matters less than the system inside.

TV brandSystem it usually runsName of the app store
SamsungTizenApps (Samsung's own store)
LGwebOSLG Content Store, shown as Apps on newer sets
Sony, Philips, many TCL and HisenseGoogle TV or Android TVGoogle Play
Some TCL, Hisense, onn and SharpRoku TVRoku Channel Store
Some Hisense and ToshibaVIDAAVIDAA's own app store
Insignia, Toshiba and Amazon OmniFire TVAmazon Appstore
VizioSmartCastA fixed set of apps, no open store

Not sure? Look at the home screen. A Google TV set shows "For you" tabs and a Google logo. A Roku TV shows a purple-edged grid of tiles. Samsung sets show a row of apps along the bottom. You can also check the model number on the sticker on the back and search for it with the brand name.

Which IPTV Players Install on Each Smart TV Platform?

Here is the heart of the matter. The table shows which well-known players you can usually find on each system at the time of writing (October 2026). Store lineups differ by model year and by country, and apps get added or removed without notice. Treat this as a starting point, then check your own TV's store.

All of these players are third-party apps. ZorbaIPTV does not make, own or sell any of them. Some charge a one-time or yearly fee for full use, paid to the developer. Check the developer's site for the current price before you pay.

What "MAC-based playlist" means

Some TV players, such as Smart IPTV and IBO Player, show a MAC address when you open them. It looks like six pairs of letters and numbers separated by colons. You enter that code, plus your ZorbaIPTV playlist link, on the player developer's website. The TV then fetches the channel list by itself. It sounds technical, yet it spares you from typing a long link with a TV remote.

How to Install IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV

Samsung TVs from roughly the last several model years run Tizen and handle IPTV well. You install the player from Samsung's own store, so there is no sideloading involved. The steps below follow the menus at the time of writing (October 2026).

  1. Connect the TV to the internet. Settings, then General or Connection, then Network. A cable to the router is best if one reaches.
  2. Press Home on the remote and open Apps on the bottom row.
  3. Search for a player. Select the magnifying glass and type its name, for example IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player.
  4. Install and open it. Select Install, wait a moment, then choose Open.
  5. Add your login. If the player asks for a server, username and password, type the Xtream details from your ZorbaIPTV message. If it shows a MAC address, send that code to us on WhatsApp and we help you link it.
  6. Let it load. The first channel list can take a minute. Then open Live TV and choose a channel.

A player missing from your store usually means your TV model is older than the app supports. Our step-by-step Samsung smart TV IPTV guide lists alternatives by model year. Samsung's own US support site explains how to update the TV software, which often brings the store up to date.

How to Install IPTV on an LG Smart TV

LG TVs run webOS. They take IPTV players from the LG store, and LG owners have more mature choices than most. Smart IPTV, often written SIPTV, has been used on LG sets for years. IPTV Smarters Pro and SS IPTV are also common picks.

  1. Get the TV online. Settings, then All Settings, then Network or General, depending on the year.
  2. Open the store. Press Home, then open Apps or the LG Content Store.
  3. Search and install the player you want, then open it.
  4. Read the screen. Smart IPTV shows your TV's MAC address. Write it down or take a photo.
  5. Link your playlist. On a phone or laptop, open the player developer's website, enter the MAC address and paste your ZorbaIPTV M3U link. Or send us the photo and we walk you through it.
  6. Restart the app. Close it and open it again. Your channel groups appear.

Smart IPTV usually offers a short free period, then asks for a one-time activation fee paid to its developer. ZorbaIPTV does not collect that fee and cannot refund it, so run your free trial inside the player's free period first. Our LG smart TV setup guide and our Smart IPTV app guide show each screen. LG's US support pages cover webOS updates and network settings.

Google TV and Android TV Sets: The Widest Choice

If your TV says Google TV or Android TV, you are in luck. These sets use Google Play, which carries more IPTV players than any other TV store. In most cases you can install TiViMate, IPTV Smarters Pro or iMPlayer straight from Play, with no sideloading at all.

  1. Sign in to your Google account on the TV if you skipped it during setup.
  2. Open Apps, then Search for apps, and type the player's name.
  3. Install the player and open it.
  4. Choose Xtream Codes (sometimes called Xtream API) and type your ZorbaIPTV server, username and password.
  5. Wait for the channels and guide to load, then pick a channel.

Google's Google TV Help center explains how to find and install apps if your menus look different. Sony, TCL, Hisense and Philips all follow the same pattern. Our Android TV and Google TV guide has pictures for each step.

Roku TV, Vizio and Other Sets: The Honest Answer

Roku TVs do not have a reliable IPTV player in the Roku Channel Store. Players appear now and then and vanish again. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you buy a plan and find out later. Vizio SmartCast sets have a similar limit, because they do not offer an open app store.

That does not mean you are out of options. There are three workable routes, from best to least ideal.

  1. Add a small streaming stick. A Fire TV Stick or a Google TV stick plugs into a spare HDMI port. Switch inputs with the TV remote and you have the full choice of players. Our Firestick IPTV page covers that route in detail.
  2. Mirror from an Android phone or a Windows PC. Roku supports screen mirroring from many Android phones and Windows laptops. Play the channel on the phone, and the TV shows it. It works, but the phone stays busy while you watch.
  3. Use the TV's web browser. Some sets have one. It is clumsy with a remote and rarely worth the effort for live channels.

Our Roku IPTV guide explains the mirroring settings, and the Windows PC guide covers the laptop side.

Which IPTV App Is Best for TV?

The best IPTV app for TV is the one your TV store actually offers and that you find easy to read from the couch. For Google TV sets, that is usually TiViMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. For LG, Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters Pro. For Samsung, IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player. Every one of them accepts a ZorbaIPTV login.

What is the best free IPTV player for my TV?

On a Google TV or Android TV set, VLC from VideoLAN is completely free and open source, and it plays an M3U link. It lacks a proper guide, though. IPTV Smarters Pro and the free version of TiViMate are friendlier for daily use. On Samsung and LG, most players are free to try and some ask for a fee later, paid to their developers. A free player still needs a service behind it. The app holds no channels of its own until you add a login.

Getting a Clear, Steady Picture on Your TV

Smart TVs have one real advantage over sticks: most have an Ethernet port on the back. If a cable can reach your router, use it. A wired link is steadier than Wi-Fi, especially in apartments where many networks compete for the same air.

  • Speed. The FCC broadband guide suggests about 25 Mbps for 4K. Full HD needs less. Run the speed test in your TV's network menu if it has one.
  • Picture mode. Switch from Vivid to Standard or Filmmaker mode. Live channels look more natural, and motion looks less smeared.
  • Software updates. Keep the TV's software current. Updates often fix app crashes and store problems.
  • Older TVs. Sets more than about six or seven years old can struggle with large channel lists. A stick usually feels quicker.

Picture quality on our channels is 4K, FHD or HD, and 4K only appears when the broadcaster supplies it. The 4K IPTV page explains what a TV, a connection and a player each need for a 4K stream.

Built-In App or Streaming Stick: Which Should You Use?

If your TV store has a player you like, start there. Fewer remotes, fewer cables and one less thing to power. Many households are perfectly happy that way. A stick earns its place when the built-in route gets in your way.

Whatever you decide, your ZorbaIPTV login works on both. A plan covers 1, 2, 3 or 5 devices, so the TV app in the den and a stick in the bedroom can share one plan. The plans and prices page lists each option side by side.

Help on WhatsApp, From Your First Button Press

Every TV menu is a little different, and the person setting it up is often not the person who watches it most. That is why ZorbaIPTV includes free setup help on WhatsApp, 24/7, at +44 7451 256085.

  1. Take a photo of the TV screen where you are stuck.
  2. Add the TV brand and, if you can, the model number from the sticker on the back.
  3. Follow the reply. A real person tells you the next button to press, one step at a time.

You can test all of this before you pay. Our 24-hour free trial needs no card at all, letting you see the channels on your own TV in your own player. For an overview of every device we cover, browse our 15 device and app setup guides. On a first order, the 7-day refund promise applies too, including when you simply could not get it working on your TV.

Smart TV IPTV Questions

How do I install IPTV on my TV?

Open your TV's app store, search for an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters Pro, Smart IPTV or TiViMate, and install it. Open the player and enter your login, either as a server, username and password or as a playlist link. ZorbaIPTV sends the login in the format your player needs and helps on WhatsApp if you get stuck.

Which IPTV app is best for TV?

It depends on your TV's system. On Google TV and Android TV, TiViMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are the most popular. On LG, Smart IPTV and IPTV Smarters Pro work well. On Samsung, IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player are common choices. All accept a ZorbaIPTV login, and all are made by independent developers.

What is the best free IPTV player for my TV?

VLC is fully free and plays an M3U link on Google TV, Android TV and Fire TV, though it has no real guide. IPTV Smarters Pro and the free version of TiViMate are friendlier for daily viewing. On Samsung and LG, most players are free to try and may ask for a fee later, paid to the developer.

Can I get IPTV on a Samsung TV?

Yes. Samsung TVs run Tizen and install players from Samsung's own app store. Search the store for a player such as IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player, install it and add your ZorbaIPTV login. Store lineups vary by model year, so if a player is missing, send us your model number on WhatsApp and we suggest one that fits.

Can I get IPTV on an LG TV?

Yes. LG TVs run webOS and offer several IPTV players in the LG store, including Smart IPTV and IPTV Smarters Pro. With Smart IPTV, you note the MAC address shown on screen and link your ZorbaIPTV playlist on the developer's website. The app then loads your channels each time you open it.

Does IPTV work on a Roku TV?

Not reliably on its own. The Roku Channel Store has no dependable IPTV player, and listings tend to disappear. The simplest fix is a Fire TV or Google TV stick in a spare HDMI port. You can also mirror the screen from an Android phone or Windows laptop. ZorbaIPTV will help you choose on WhatsApp.

Do I need a box for IPTV on a smart TV?

Usually not. Most recent Samsung, LG and Google TV sets can run an IPTV player straight from their own store. A box or stick helps when the TV runs Roku or Vizio SmartCast, when it is older and slow, or when you want a player your TV store does not offer, such as TiViMate.

Is there a ZorbaIPTV app in my TV store?

No. ZorbaIPTV does not publish an app in any TV store. You install a trusted third-party player and add your ZorbaIPTV login to it. If you see an app or APK using our name, it is not ours. Message us on WhatsApp and we will point you to a player that works on your TV.
