IPTV on an onn 4K Box, Chromecast with Google TV or Google TV Streamer

An onn TV box is one of the friendliest ways to start with IPTV. The onn 4K streaming box and onn 4K Pro from Walmart, the Chromecast with Google TV and the Google TV Streamer all run Google TV, so you install a player from Google Play, choose its Xtream Codes login and type the ZorbaIPTV details we send on WhatsApp. In most cases no sideloading is needed. If the player you want is missing from Google Play, this guide also shows how to enable developer options and let Downloader install apps, with honest notes on the risks. Got stuck? Photograph the TV and send it to us on WhatsApp; a real person tells you the next button.

What you need to set up ZorbaIPTV on onn and Google TV

  • An onn 4K box or onn 4K Pro, a Chromecast with Google TV, or a Google TV Streamer
  • A Google account, signed in during the box setup
  • Your ZorbaIPTV login from WhatsApp: server address, username and password
  • The Google TV app on your phone, which works as a keyboard
  • A 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal, or Ethernet on models that have a port

No credentials yet? Ask for the free 24-hour ZorbaIPTV trial, no card required, and practice these steps on your own screen. Not sure this is the right guide? The setup hub helps you pick by device, and the Xtream Codes login explainer covers the three lines we send. Ready to order? Compare plan lengths and screen counts.

How to set up ZorbaIPTV on onn and Google TV, in 12 beginner steps

  1. Finish the box setup and connect

Plug the box into the TV and into power, then follow the Google TV setup screens. Sign in with your Google account, ideally by scanning the code with your phone. Join your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. The onn 4K Pro and the Google TV Streamer have an Ethernet port; use a cable if the router is nearby.

    Choose a ZorbaIPTV plan

  2. Check the software and update

Open Settings with the gear icon at the top right. Go to System, About, and note the model and Android TV OS version. Then choose System update and install anything waiting. Menu paths here are correct at the time of writing (October 2026); Google TV updates sometimes move them.

  3. Search Google Play for a player

Go to the Apps tab on the home screen and choose Search for apps. Type TiViMate, check the developer name on the listing and select Install. TiViMate shows channels in a cable-style guide. iMPlayer is another Google Play option with a simpler menu. Pick one to start.

  4. Set up the phone as a keyboard

Install the Google TV app on your phone, sign in with the same Google account and connect it to the box. When a text box appears on the TV, your phone keyboard can type into it. This saves a lot of clicking when you enter a long server address.

  5. Open the player and choose Xtream Codes

Launch the player from the Apps row. In TiViMate, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes. Xtream Codes is a login with three boxes: server address, username and password. ZorbaIPTV sends this format by default, and it loads channels, guide data and the movie library together.

  6. Enter the login carefully

Type the server address exactly as our WhatsApp message shows it, from http:// to the colon and port number. Then the username and password, keeping capital letters. Press Next. Name the playlist ZorbaIPTV. If the player offers to include movies and series, say yes.

  7. Wait for the first sync

The first load downloads every channel group, the guide data and the library. Smaller boxes can take a few minutes. Do not press buttons until the progress indicator finishes. Later launches only fetch changes and open quickly.

  8. Run the first checks

Open the TV guide and confirm channel groups on the left. Check that program names appear beside channels. Play a channel you know for a few minutes, then try a movie. Channels run in HD, FHD or 4K; a 4K picture needs a broadcaster that supplies it plus a box and TV that handle it.

  9. Sideload only when you must: enable developer options

If your player is not in Google Play, open Settings, System, About, highlight Android TV OS build and press the center button seven times. A message confirms developer options are on. This only reveals a hidden menu; it does not change your Google account.

  10. Let Downloader install the player

Install Downloader by AFTVnews from Google Play. Then open Settings, Apps, Security and restrictions, Unknown sources, and switch Downloader on. Open Downloader, type the official address of the player or the code our team sends, and install. If Google Play Protect shows a warning, stop and message us first.

  11. Tidy storage and pin the player

Boxes with small storage fill up fast. Delete the installer file when Downloader offers, and remove apps you never use under Settings, Apps. Then hold the center button on the player in the Apps row and move it to the front.

  12. Send a photo for help

If your screen does not match a step, take a photo of the TV and send it to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085, with your box model and the step number. A real person replies with the next button to press, 24/7 and free.

Stuck on one of these steps? Take a photo of your screen with your phone and send it to us on WhatsApp. A real person will tell you which button to press next.

Which onn or Google TV box you have, and what it means

All four boxes below run Google TV, so the steps on this page are the same for each. The differences that matter for IPTV are an Ethernet port and how much room is left for apps. Check the model under Settings, System, About, or on the label under the box.

DeviceEthernet portWhat to know
onn 4K streaming box (Walmart)No, Wi-Fi onlyA simple starter box; use 5 GHz Wi-Fi and keep storage tidy
onn 4K Pro (Walmart)YesMore room for apps; a cable gives the steadiest picture
Chromecast with Google TVNo; a USB-C adapter with Ethernet can add oneGoogle has replaced it with the Streamer, but it still runs the same players

Hardware details can change between production runs, so confirm them on the box or the retailer page. Our guide to the best IPTV box for beginners compares these with Fire TV Sticks. If you own a Google TV television rather than a box, use the Android TV and Google TV television guide. Got a Fire TV Stick too? The Firestick guide uses the same login.

Players, logins and the honest sideloading note

Start with a player from Google Play. TiViMate is the most common choice on Google TV boxes; its free version plays the ZorbaIPTV channels, and TiViMate Premium is an optional upgrade paid to its developer (check the developer site for the current price). iMPlayer is a good alternative. IPTV Smarters listings in Google Play have come and gone, so you may need Downloader for it. None of these apps are made or sold by ZorbaIPTV, and there is no ZorbaIPTV APK; avoid any file using that name.

See the step-by-step app guides for TiViMate, iMPlayer and IPTV Smarters Pro. Use the Xtream Codes login on every one. The M3U link is a fallback for players without Xtream, and the portal URL is only for MAG-style boxes; see the Xtream Codes guide if the terms are new.

About sideloading on Google TV

Sideloading means installing an app from outside Google Play. Google TV allows it once developer options and Unknown sources are on, and Google Play Protect still scans what you install, as Google explains in its Android TV Help article on Play Protect. Google has also announced developer verification for apps installed outside the store, and how that applies to TV boxes may change after October 2026. Our advice: use Google Play first, sideload only from a developer's official site, and ask us before overriding any warning.

WhatsApp help for onn and Google TV owners

Send a photo of the TV screen to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085. A real person sees exactly what you see and replies with the next press of the remote. Try it all on the 24-hour free trial with no card, then choose a plan on the pricing page.

Where to find the main menus on onn and Google TV

App and system updates sometimes rename or move menus. Use this table as a map, not a promise. Seeing a slightly different label? Go with the nearest match, or snap a picture of the TV for us on WhatsApp.

Want the developer's or maker's own instructions? Visit the Google TV Help: install apps on Google TV. Remember that the app comes from its developer, not from ZorbaIPTV, and any paid tier is paid to them. Use the trial to check that the app, your device and our login work well together before you buy.

Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first

  • Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
  • Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
  • The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
  • The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
  • The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.

Our streams come in HD, FHD and 4K; the 4K version exists only when the channel itself broadcasts in 4K. Bandwidth and hardware for that are covered in what 4K IPTV requires at home. Common onn and Google TV setup problems and how to fix them

TiViMate is not in Google Play

Check that the box has finished updating and that your Google account is signed in. Search again by full name. If it is still missing in your country, try iMPlayer, or sideload with Downloader from the official site.

Android TV OS build does nothing when pressed

Press the center button seven times in a row without pausing too long. Then go back one screen; developer options appear under System. Some updates move this, so send us a photo if it stays hidden.

Unknown sources does not list Downloader

Install Downloader first, then reopen Settings, Apps, Security and restrictions, Unknown sources. Restart the box if the list still looks old.

Not enough storage to install

Open Settings, System, Storage to see what fills the box. Uninstall unused apps, delete installer files from Downloader and clear cache in apps you keep. Small boxes need this tidy-up now and then.

Login refused

Retype the server address with http:// at the start and the port at the end, and check password capitals. Use the phone keyboard to avoid slips. An ended trial also fails; message us for a fresh one.

Channels load but the guide is blank

Guide data can take time on the first day. Update the playlist in the player settings and check Settings, System, Date and time is automatic. Wait an hour before reporting it.

The picture freezes on Wi-Fi

Move to the 5 GHz network, or use Ethernet on the onn 4K Pro or Google TV Streamer. Restart the box and pause big downloads at home. Tell us if only one channel is affected.

The remote stops responding

Replace the batteries, then re-pair the remote under Settings, Remotes and Accessories. The Google TV app on your phone works as a backup remote in the meantime.

Setting up ZorbaIPTV on onn and Google TV: common questions

How do I put IPTV on an onn TV box?

Open the Apps tab, choose Search for apps and install a player such as TiViMate from Google Play. Open it, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes, and type the ZorbaIPTV server address, username and password. Wait for the first load, then check channels, guide data and a test channel. Sideloading is only needed if your player is missing.

Do I need Downloader on an onn 4K box?

Usually not. TiViMate and iMPlayer install straight from Google Play on onn boxes. You only need Downloader, developer options and the Unknown sources setting if the player you want is not in the store. In that case, use only the developer official address, and ask us if Play Protect shows a warning.

Is the onn 4K Pro better than the basic onn box for IPTV?

For most homes, yes. The onn 4K Pro has an Ethernet port for a steadier connection and more room for apps. The basic onn 4K box works well too, as long as you use 5 GHz Wi-Fi and keep its storage tidy. Both run the same players with the same ZorbaIPTV login.

Does a Chromecast with Google TV still work for IPTV?

Yes. Google has replaced it with the Google TV Streamer, but the Chromecast with Google TV still runs Google TV and installs players from Google Play. It has no Ethernet port of its own, so use strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a USB-C adapter with Ethernet.

Is there a ZorbaIPTV app for Google TV?

No. ZorbaIPTV does not publish an app or APK for Google TV or any other device. You install a third-party player like TiViMate and enter the ZorbaIPTV login. Any app or file using our name is not ours, so do not install it.

Can I test ZorbaIPTV on my onn box before paying?

Yes. Ask on WhatsApp for the free 24-hour trial; no card is needed. Install the player, enter the trial login and watch on your own box and Wi-Fi. If you like it, pick a plan; your login usually arrives in under 15 minutes after payment.
