How to set up IPTV Smarters Pro, in 12 beginner steps

1. Check which version your device needs

   At the time of writing (October 2026), IPTV Smarters Pro runs on Android phones and tablets, Android TV boxes, Fire TV sticks, Windows and macOS. On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, the same company offers Smarters Player Lite in the App Store. Some Samsung and LG TVs have had a version in their store, depending on the model year.

2. Install it from a source you trust

   On Android, use Google Play. On Windows and Mac, use the download page on the official IPTV Smarters website. On a Fire TV Stick, the usual route is the free Downloader app, which needs the Install unknown apps switch turned on first. Our Firestick guide covers that switch in detail. Skip lookalike apps from unknown publishers.

3. Open the app and accept the terms

   The first launch shows the terms of use. Read them and press Accept. Some versions then ask which layout you want, mobile or TV. Pick TV on a television and mobile on a phone. You can change it later in Settings if the menus look too small or too large.

4. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API

   The app offers several ways to add a service. Tap the one labeled Login with Xtream Codes API. It fetches the channel groups, guide listings and movie library together. There is also a playlist option, but it tends to drop the listings, so we treat it as plan B.

5. Fill in the four boxes

   The form asks for Any Name, Username, Password and URL. Any Name is just a label, so type ZorbaIPTV or the room name. Copy the username and password exactly, with the same capital letters. In URL, type the server address we sent, including http:// at the front and the port number, such as :8080, at the end.

6. Press Add User and wait

   Press Add User. The app checks the details and downloads the channel list, the movie list and the guide. On a phone this takes seconds. On a small stick it can take a minute or two, so leave the remote alone. When it finishes, you land on the home screen with large tiles.

7. Run a quick first-run check

   Open Live TV, choose any group on the left and play a channel for a minute. Next, open Movies and start any title. Last, open the TV guide tile. If the guide is empty, press the button to install or refresh it and wait. If all three work, your setup is complete.

8. Learn the three tiles you will use most

   Live TV holds the 25,000+ channels sorted into groups. Movies and Series hold the on-demand library of 120,000+ titles. The TV guide shows what is on now and next. Everything else, such as recordings or multi-screen, is extra. Many people never touch more than these three tiles.

9. Save your favorite channels

   Inside Live TV, press and hold OK on a channel, or tap the heart or star icon, and choose Add to favorites. A Favorites group then appears at the top of the list. Favorites are saved on this device only, so repeat this on each screen you use.

10. Change the player if a channel freezes

    Open Settings, then Player selection. Smarters includes more than one built-in video player. If a single channel shows a frozen picture with sound, switch to another player there and try again. Most people never need this. Switch back if nothing improves.

11. Know what the paid upgrade is

    Some versions of Smarters show an upgrade or premium offer. That is a payment to the app developer, not to ZorbaIPTV, and it is optional. Live TV, movies and the guide work without it. Prices and features are set by the developer, so check their site for the current details.

12. Add the login on your other devices

    Install Smarters on the next phone or TV and enter the same three details. You can install it on as many devices as you like. Your plan decides how many of them may stream together, and you choose one, two, three or five. If a second screen will not play, close the first.

Which devices run IPTV Smarters Pro?

IPTV Smarters Pro runs on most Android-based devices and on computers, and Apple devices use its sister app. Store listings change, so treat this as a guide checked in October 2026 and confirm on the developer's site. Your ZorbaIPTV login works the same way in every version.

Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first

• Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
• Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
• The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
• The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
• The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.

Common IPTV Smarters Pro setup problems and how to fix them

Smarters reports a wrong username or password

Type both again yourself rather than pasting, since a pasted space at the end breaks the match. Watch the capitals. Still refused? Confirm your end date, then message us.

The app says the URL is wrong or cannot connect

The server URL needs http:// at the front and the port number at the end, such as :8080, with no slash after the port. Do not swap http for https unless we sent https.

Live TV opens but the list is empty

Go back to the home screen and press the refresh icon, then open Live TV again. If it stays empty, log out under List Users and add the user again.

The TV guide shows No program information

The guide downloads after the channels. Press the TV guide tile, choose to install or refresh it and wait a few minutes. Also check the device clock and time zone.

A channel freezes but the sound keeps going

Open Settings, then Player selection, and try another built-in player. You can also pick a different version of the same channel in that group.

Max connections reached or too many connections

Every screen playing at once uses one connection from your plan. Stop playback on another device, close the app fully and wait a minute.

The app keeps closing on a Fire TV Stick

Open the stick Settings, then Applications, then Manage installed applications. Choose Smarters and press Clear cache. Restart the stick and try again.

The screen says your account has expired

Your plan or trial end date has passed. Message us on WhatsApp to add time; the same login comes back to life, and nothing renews by itself.
