Apple TV, iPhone and iPad IPTV Setup Explained for First-Timers

IPTV on an Apple TV, iPhone or iPad is set up entirely through the App Store: you install an IPTV player, choose its Xtream Codes login and type the ZorbaIPTV details we send you on WhatsApp. Nothing is sideloaded and no settings need unlocking, which makes Apple devices one of the gentlest places to start. The trick is picking a genuine player, because the App Store has many lookalikes. This guide names the ones we see working, shows each step on the Siri Remote and on a touch screen, and explains how to type a long server address without losing patience. If a screen looks different, send us a photo on WhatsApp and a real person will help.

What you need to set up ZorbaIPTV on Apple TV and iPhone

  • An Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K, or an iPhone or iPad on current software
  • An Apple Account that can download free apps
  • Your ZorbaIPTV login from WhatsApp: server address, username and password
  • An iPhone near the Apple TV, to type the login with its keyboard
  • Wi-Fi at home, and an Ethernet cable for the Apple TV if the router is close

No credentials yet? Ask for the free 24-hour ZorbaIPTV trial, no card required, and practice these steps on your own screen. Not sure this is the right guide? The setup hub helps you pick by device, and the Xtream Codes login explainer covers the three lines we send. Ready to order? Compare plan lengths and screen counts.

How to set up ZorbaIPTV on Apple TV and iPhone, in 12 beginner steps

  1. Update the device first

On Apple TV, open Settings, System, Software Updates. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, General, Software Update. Install anything waiting. App Store players often need recent software, and an update fixes many playback quirks before they start. Menu paths are correct at the time of writing (October 2026).

    Choose a ZorbaIPTV plan

  2. Open the App Store and search

Open the App Store and go to Search. Type IPTV Smarters or iMPlayer. Look closely at each result: check the developer name, read a few recent reviews and skip apps that promise free channels. A genuine player ships empty; your ZorbaIPTV login fills it.

  3. Choose a player you trust

IPTV Smarters has had Apple listings from its developer, WHMCS Smarters, under names such as Smarters Player Lite; iMPlayer has an Apple TV app too. Listings change, so pick one whose developer matches the official website. TiViMate does not exist for Apple devices, so any app using that name is someone else.

  4. Install and open the player

Select Get and confirm with your Apple Account. Open the app. If it asks for permission to find devices on your local network, you can allow it; some players need this for casting. Then look for the option to add a user or playlist.

  5. Pick the Xtream Codes login

Choose Xtream Codes, sometimes labeled Xtream Codes API or Login with Xtream. This is the three-box login: server address, username and password. ZorbaIPTV sends this format by default, and it loads live channels, guide data and the movie library together.

  6. Type the details the easy way

On iPhone or iPad, press and hold each line in our WhatsApp message, choose Copy, then paste it into the matching box. On Apple TV, a keyboard notification appears on your iPhone when a text box is selected; tap it and type there. Keep the server address exact, from http:// to the port number.

  7. Let the first load run

The player now downloads the channel list, guide data and library. Stay on home Wi-Fi so it does not use mobile data. This can take a few minutes. Keep the app open until the home screen of the player fills with sections.

  8. Check the three basics

Open Live TV and confirm the channel groups appear. Check that program names show next to channels. Play a channel you know for a few minutes and judge the picture. Expect HD, FHD or 4K depending on the channel; 4K needs both a broadcaster that offers it and a device that can show it.

  9. Turn on Match Frame Rate on Apple TV

Go to Settings on the Apple TV, then Video and Audio, then Match Content, and turn Match Frame Rate on. The TV then follows the frame rate of each channel, so motion looks smoother. The screen may go dark for a second when it switches. That is normal.

  10. Add favorites and keep the screen awake

Use the favorite option on the channels you watch most, so the family finds them quickly. On iPhone, lengthen Auto-Lock under Settings, Display and Brightness if the screen keeps turning off during long viewing. On Apple TV, set Sleep After to a longer time.

  11. Repeat on other Apple devices

Install the same player on any other iPhone, iPad or Apple TV and sign in with the same details. How many play at the same moment depends on your plan: 1, 2, 3 or 5 screens. Favorites stay on each device separately.

  12. Send a photo if anything is unclear

Take a screenshot on iPhone or iPad, or a photo of the TV, and send it to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085 with the step number. A real person replies with the next tap or click. The help is free and available 24/7.

Stuck on one of these steps? Take a photo of your screen with your phone and send it to us on WhatsApp. A real person will tell you which button to press next.

Players for Apple devices, compared

Apple owners have fewer IPTV players to choose from than Android owners, but the good ones are easy. Pick an App Store player from a named developer that offers an Xtream Codes login. ZorbaIPTV does not make or sell any app; we supply the login, and every player below starts empty until you enter it.

App listings and prices change, so check each developer's site before paying for any upgrade. Our Smarters guide and iMPlayer guide show each screen, and the M3U playlist guide covers the VLC route. For a wider view, see our comparison of IPTV players by device.

No ZorbaIPTV app, and why that is fine

There is no official ZorbaIPTV app in the App Store, and no ZorbaIPTV APK anywhere. Apps using our name are not ours. The ZorbaIPTV app page explains where your login goes instead.

AirPlay, Macs and help on WhatsApp

Run the player on the Apple TV itself rather than AirPlaying from a phone. AirPlay sends the stream through your network twice, which can make the picture softer and less steady. AirPlay is fine for a quick look at something on the big screen, but a native Apple TV app is the better everyday setup.

Apple explains frame-rate and dynamic-range matching in its Match Content support article. On a Mac, you can use VLC with the M3U link, or an App Store player where it offers a Mac version; our Windows and Mac guide covers computers step by step.

Whenever a screen confuses you, send a screenshot or a photo of the TV to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085. A real person checks it and replies with the next tap. Try everything first on the 24-hour free trial, then pick a plan on the pricing page. The beginner overview in how to set up IPTV links every device guide.

Where to find the main menus on Apple TV and iPhone

App and system updates sometimes rename or move menus. Use this table as a map, not a promise. Seeing a slightly different label? Go with the nearest match, or snap a picture of the TV for us on WhatsApp.

Want the developer's or maker's own instructions? Visit the Apple guide to the Match Content settings. Remember that the app comes from its developer, not from ZorbaIPTV, and any paid tier is paid to them. Use the trial to check that the app, your device and our login work well together before you buy.

Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first

  • Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
  • Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
  • The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
  • The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
  • The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.

Our streams come in HD, FHD and 4K; the 4K version exists only when the channel itself broadcasts in 4K. Bandwidth and hardware for that are covered in what 4K IPTV requires at home. Common Apple TV and iPhone setup problems and how to fix them

The app looks nothing like this guide

You may have installed a lookalike. Delete it and search again, checking that the developer name matches the official player website. Your ZorbaIPTV login is unaffected; enter it in the genuine app.

The App Store cannot find the player

The store shows apps for your account country. Try the full app name, then another player from the table. If you moved country recently, your listings may differ; ask us which player currently installs.

Login fails on the first try

Check the server address starts with http:// and ends with the port number. On iPhone, autocorrect can add a capital letter or a space, so look closely. A finished trial also fails. Send a screenshot of the filled login to our team.

Channels list but will not play

Look for a player engine or decoder option in the app settings and switch it. Restart the device. If one channel fails while others play, report its name on WhatsApp.

The TV goes dark when a channel starts

Match Frame Rate is switching the TV mode, which takes a moment. If your TV takes too long or shows an error, check the HDMI cable or turn the option off.

AirPlay keeps dropping

AirPlay doubles the work for your Wi-Fi. Install the player on the Apple TV directly. If you must AirPlay, stay near the router and turn off Low Data Mode for the home network.

Playback stops when the iPhone locks

Video usually pauses when the screen sleeps. Lengthen Auto-Lock, keep the phone charging, or watch on the Apple TV instead.

The guide is empty

Guide data loads after the channels and can take time on day one. Refresh the user inside the player, check the device time zone, and give it an hour before reporting it.

Setting up ZorbaIPTV on Apple TV and iPhone: common questions

How do I watch IPTV on Apple TV?

Install an IPTV player from the Apple TV App Store, such as an IPTV Smarters listing or iMPlayer. Open it, choose the Xtream Codes login and enter your ZorbaIPTV server address, username and password, using your iPhone as a keyboard. Wait for the first load, then check channels, guide data and the picture.

Is there a ZorbaIPTV app for iPhone?

No. ZorbaIPTV does not publish an app in the App Store or anywhere else. You use a third-party player, such as Smarters or iMPlayer, and enter the ZorbaIPTV login. Any app that uses our name is not ours, so do not pay it for channels.

Does TiViMate run on iPhone or Apple TV?

It does not; its developer only releases it for Android-based TV hardware. On Apple devices, use an App Store player that supports Xtream Codes. If you really want TiViMate, a Google TV box or Fire TV Stick on the TV runs it with the same ZorbaIPTV login.

Do I need to pay for the player app?

Not to get started. The common players have a free tier that signs in to ZorbaIPTV and plays the channels. Some offer a premium upgrade with extra features, paid to the app developer and not to us. Check the developer site or the App Store listing for the current price.

How many Apple devices can use one ZorbaIPTV login?

You can save the login on as many devices as you like. How many play at the same moment depends on your plan: 1, 2, 3 or 5 screens. So a family could watch on the Apple TV and an iPad together on a two-screen plan.
