TiViMate Setup for Beginners: Add Your Playlist on Android TV and Fire TV

How to set up TiViMate, in 12 beginner steps

1. Check your device can run TiViMate

   TiViMate is built for TV screens running Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS. That covers Fire TV Sticks, the Nvidia Shield, onn boxes, Chromecast with Google TV and TVs with Google TV inside. It has no version for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Samsung or LG TVs. On those, use IPTV Smarters or iMPlayer with the same login.

   Choose a ZorbaIPTV plan

2. Install it on Android TV or Google TV

   Open the Google Play Store on the TV, search for TiViMate IPTV Player and press Install. Check the publisher matches the developer named on tivimate.com before you install. When it finishes, press Open, or find the app later in your Apps row.

3. Install it on a Fire TV Stick

   At the time of writing (October 2026), Fire TV owners usually install TiViMate with the free Downloader app. First turn on Install unknown apps for Downloader in the Fire TV settings, under My Fire TV and Developer options. Then type the download address from the official TiViMate site into Downloader. Our Firestick guide shows each screen.

4. Open TiViMate and press Add playlist

   The first screen shows a single button, Add playlist. Press it. You are then asked what kind of playlist you have. The choices include Xtream Codes, M3U playlist and Stalker portal. Pick Xtream Codes, because it brings in the TV guide with no extra typing.

5. Type the server URL

   In the Server address box, type the server URL from our WhatsApp message. It starts with http:// and ends with a colon and a port number, such as :8080. Leave out any slash after the number. Do not change http to https. Press Next when the line matches the message.

6. Type the username and password

   Enter the username, then the password, exactly as sent. Capital letters matter. Typing with the remote is slow but safe; pasting from a phone can add a hidden space. Press Next. TiViMate contacts our server and shows how many channels and movies it found.

7. Name the playlist and finish

   TiViMate suggests a playlist name. Change it to ZorbaIPTV so you recognise it later. It may ask whether to include movies and series too. Leave them on if you want the on-demand library, or turn them off for a faster load on a small stick. Press Done.

8. Let the guide load, then check it

   The first load fetches channels and the TV guide together, which can take a minute or two. Then press Back to see the guide grid. Program names should sit next to most channels. If the grid is empty, go to Settings, EPG and press Update EPG.

9. Run a two-minute first-run check

   Pick a news channel and watch for a minute. Press OK to open the channel list and press left to see the groups. Open one movie if you kept the on-demand section. If all of this works, your setup is complete. If not, use the problem list further down.

10. Tidy the list and add favorites

    Press and hold OK on a channel to add it to favorites. To shorten the list, open Settings, Playlists, ZorbaIPTV and look for the option to manage or hide groups. Hidden groups can be shown again at any time. Exact wording depends on the version.

11. Decide whether you want Premium

    The free app plays live channels with the guide grid. Premium unlocks extras such as recording, catch-up, multi-view and more than one playlist, according to the developer. You buy it in the TiViMate Companion app on an Android phone, and the developer sets the price. Check tivimate.com for the current details.

12. Repeat it on your next television

    Install TiViMate on the second Android TV or Fire TV device and type the Xtream details again. ZorbaIPTV plans come in one, two, three and five screen sizes, so choose the size your household needs. A device that is turned off uses no screen.

TiViMate free versus Premium, in plain words

TiViMate free is enough to watch live TV with a proper guide grid. Premium is an optional upgrade sold by the app developer, not by ZorbaIPTV, and we never take a cut. The table reflects the developer's own description at the time of writing; features can change, so check before you pay.

No TiViMate on your TV? Use one of these instead

TiViMate is Android-only, so a Samsung TV, an LG TV or an iPhone needs a different player. Your ZorbaIPTV login works in all of them. Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first

• Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
• Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
• The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
• The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
• The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.

Common TiViMate setup problems and how to fix them

Playlist could not be loaded

Check the server URL first: http:// at the front, the port number at the end and nothing after it. Then retype the password by remote. If both are right, check the login is still inside its paid or trial dates.

Error 401 or wrong username and password

The server rejected the login. Look for a capital letter typed as small, or an extra space after pasting. Retype both and press Next again.

No program information in the guide

Open Settings, then EPG, and press Update EPG. Wait a few minutes. If times look shifted, fix the time zone in the device settings, not in TiViMate.

A group of channels has disappeared

You may have hidden it by accident. Open Settings, Playlists, ZorbaIPTV and check the hidden groups. If the group is not listed, choose Update playlist.

Black screen with sound on one channel

Your device may not decode that stream. Try another version of the same channel in the group. In playback settings you can also try the other decoder option, then switch back.

Too many connections

Every screen playing at once counts. Stop playback on another device and wait a minute. A paused channel still counts until you leave it.

A Premium message when adding a second playlist

The free version takes one playlist. One ZorbaIPTV playlist already holds every channel, so you do not need a second. Delete an old playlist or buy Premium from the developer.
