How to set up ZorbaIPTV on Roku, in 12 beginner steps
Check your Roku model
Press Home, open Settings, System, About. Write down the model name and number and the software version. The model tells you whether AirPlay is possible, and it helps our team answer quickly. Menu names here are accurate at the time of writing (October 2026).
Understand why there is no Roku app
Roku only installs channels from its own store, and it has no setting for outside apps. Players that appear in that store come and go, and we cannot vouch for any of them. That is why this guide uses mirroring or a stick instead. Be careful with any Roku app that asks for payment before showing a login screen.
Allow screen mirroring on the Roku
Go to Settings, System, Screen mirroring. Set Screen mirroring mode to Prompt, so the Roku asks before showing a device, or Always allow for your own phone. If you see no such menu, update the Roku under Settings, System, System update and look again.
Android: set up the player on the phone first
Install a player on your Android phone, such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiViMate where it runs, and sign in with the ZorbaIPTV Xtream details. Check that a channel plays on the phone. Mirroring copies the phone screen, so the phone has to work on its own first.
Android: start mirroring
Swipe down from the top of the phone screen twice to see the quick tiles. Tap Smart View, Screen cast, Cast or Screen mirror, depending on the brand, and choose your Roku. Accept the prompt on the TV. Roku notes that some phones, including Google Pixel models, do not support mirroring to Roku.
Windows: connect the laptop
On Windows 11, press the Windows key and K together, choose Cast or the wireless display option and pick the Roku. On Windows 10, open the Action Center and choose Connect. Then open your player, such as VLC with the ZorbaIPTV M3U link, and play a channel full screen.
iPhone or iPad: use AirPlay on supported models
If your Roku supports AirPlay, open Settings, Apple AirPlay and HomeKit on the Roku and turn AirPlay on. On the iPhone, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring and choose the Roku. If the Roku menu is missing, your model does not support AirPlay; use another route. Roku keeps a list of supported models.
Silence the phone while mirroring
Everything on the phone screen shows on the TV, including messages. Turn on Do Not Disturb, keep the phone plugged in and lengthen the screen timeout. If the phone screen turns off, mirroring stops.
For everyday watching, add a stick
Buy a Fire TV Stick that runs Fire OS, or a Google TV box such as an onn 4K box or the Google TV Streamer. Plug it into a free HDMI port on the Roku TV, or into the TV your Roku player uses, and power it from the wall adapter.
Set up the stick and rename the input
Follow our Firestick or onn and Google TV guide to install a player and enter the ZorbaIPTV login. On a Roku TV, highlight the new HDMI input on the home screen, press the star button and rename it ZorbaIPTV, so the family can find it.
Run the first checks
Whichever route you use, open the channel list, check that program names show in the guide, and play a channel you know for a few minutes. Mirrored pictures are softer than a native app; a stick gives the cleanest result.
Send a photo of your Roku screen
If a menu is missing or a device does not appear, photograph the TV and send it to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085 with your Roku model. A real person replies with the next step, at any hour, free.
Stuck on one of these steps? Take a photo of your screen with your phone and send it to us on WhatsApp. A real person will tell you which button to press next.
What works on Roku, and what we will not promise
The plain truth: Roku does not have a reliable IPTV player in its store, and Roku devices cannot sideload apps. Any route to ZorbaIPTV on a Roku goes through another device. We would rather say this up front than sell you a login that frustrates you on day one.
Screen mirroring from Android and Windows is described on Roku's own screen mirroring help page. iPhone and iPad owners need a Roku that supports AirPlay; Roku lists the models on its AirPlay and HomeKit help page. If your model is not on that list, an iPhone cannot mirror to it.
| Device you already own | Best Roku route | Guide to follow |
|---|---|---|
| Android phone (not Pixel) | Screen mirroring, or a stick for daily use | Player guide, then mirroring steps above |
| Windows laptop | Win+K wireless display | Windows and Mac guide |
| iPhone or iPad | AirPlay, only on supported Roku models | Apple guide, then AirPlay steps above |
| Nothing else | Add a Fire TV Stick or Google TV box | Firestick or onn guide |
The guides mentioned are the Windows and Mac walkthrough, the Apple walkthrough, the Firestick walkthrough and the onn and Google TV walkthrough.
Why a small stick is the better Roku fix
A streaming stick gives your Roku TV a real IPTV app with a guide, favorites and a remote that changes channels instantly. Mirroring ties up your phone and adds a delay. For a household that watches every evening, the stick wins clearly.
- Fire TV Stick: pick a Fire OS model; Vega OS models such as the 4K Select do not take outside players.
- Google TV box: the onn 4K boxes and the Google TV Streamer install TiViMate from Google Play.
- Same login: your ZorbaIPTV details work on the stick, the phone and any other screen, within your plan's 1, 2, 3 or 5 screens.
Our guide to IPTV boxes and sticks compares models for beginners, and the smart TV IPTV page covers Roku TVs alongside Samsung and LG.
Help that starts with a photo
Not sure which route suits your Roku? Take a photo of the Settings, System, About screen and send it to ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085. A real person reads the model and tells you which option will work. You can test the whole chain on the 24-hour free trial before choosing a plan on the pricing page.
Where to find the main menus on Roku
App and system updates sometimes rename or move menus. Use this table as a map, not a promise. Seeing a slightly different label? Go with the nearest match, or snap a picture of the TV for us on WhatsApp.
| Route | What you need | How it feels day to day | Our verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mirror an Android phone | A supported Android phone and a player app on it | Phone stays on and busy; slight delay | Fine for an occasional evening |
| Mirror a Windows laptop | Windows 10 or 11 and a player such as VLC | Laptop stays on; small delay | Fine for an occasional evening |
| AirPlay from iPhone or iPad | An AirPlay-capable Roku and a player on the iPhone | Phone stays on; picture can soften | Works on supported models only |
| Streaming stick on HDMI | A Fire TV Stick or Google TV box and a free HDMI port | A proper TV app with guide and favorites | The route we recommend |
Want the developer's or maker's own instructions? Visit the Roku help on mirroring a phone or PC to the TV. Remember that the app comes from its developer, not from ZorbaIPTV, and any paid tier is paid to them. Use the trial to check that the app, your device and our login work well together before you buy.
Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first
- Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
- Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
- The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
- The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
- The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.
Our streams come in HD, FHD and 4K; the 4K version exists only when the channel itself broadcasts in 4K. Bandwidth and hardware for that are covered in what 4K IPTV requires at home. Common Roku setup problems and how to fix them
The phone cannot see the Roku
Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, not a guest network. Check that Screen mirroring mode is not set to Never allow, restart both and try again. A VPN on the phone can hide the Roku, so pause it while casting.
Screen mirroring is not listed on the Roku
Update the Roku under Settings, System, System update. Some older models never got the feature. If it is still missing, use a stick on HDMI instead.
My Pixel phone will not mirror
Roku states that Google Pixel phones do not support screen mirroring to Roku. Use a Windows laptop, an AirPlay-capable route, or a Google TV box on HDMI.
No AirPlay menu on the Roku
Your model may not support AirPlay, or its software is out of date. Update it and look under Settings for Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. If it never appears, the iPhone route is closed for that Roku.
The mirrored picture is blurry or jumpy
The phone downloads the stream and sends it again over Wi-Fi, which doubles the load. Move closer to the router, pause downloads, or switch to a stick for a native picture.
The TV goes black when the phone sleeps
Mirroring shows the phone screen, so it stops when the screen locks. Lengthen the screen timeout, keep the phone charging, or use a stick.
A Roku store app asks for money first
Delete it. Paying for a store app never adds channels, and we cannot vouch for those apps. Your ZorbaIPTV login belongs in a trusted player on a phone, laptop or stick.
The stick input is hard to find
On a Roku TV, highlight the HDMI tile on the home screen, press the star button and rename it ZorbaIPTV. Turn on HDMI-CEC so the stick wakes with the TV.

Setting up ZorbaIPTV on Roku: common questions
Can you get IPTV on a Roku?
Yes, but not with a native app we can recommend. Roku has no reliable IPTV player in its store and cannot install outside apps. You can mirror an Android phone or Windows laptop, use AirPlay from an iPhone on supported Roku models, or plug a Fire TV Stick or Google TV box into the TV. The stick works best.
Can I sideload an IPTV app onto my Roku?
No. Roku only installs channels from its own store and has no unknown-sources setting like Android. Roku developer mode is for people writing apps, not for installing outside players. Treat any site offering a Roku IPTV APK with suspicion, including anything using the ZorbaIPTV name.
Can I mirror my iPhone to a Roku for IPTV?
Only if your Roku supports AirPlay. Check for Apple AirPlay and HomeKit in the Roku Settings menu, or look up your model on Roku support. If AirPlay is there, open Control Center on the iPhone and choose Screen Mirroring. If not, your iPhone cannot mirror to that Roku.
What is the simplest way to make a Roku TV work with IPTV?
A low-cost Fire TV Stick that runs Fire OS, or an entry-level Google TV box such as the onn 4K box, plugged into a spare HDMI port. It adds a real IPTV player, with a guide and favorites, and uses the same ZorbaIPTV login. Check current store prices before buying.
How is ZorbaIPTV different from The Roku Channel?
They are unrelated. The Roku Channel is a free, ad-supported service run by Roku, with its own lineup. ZorbaIPTV is a paid IPTV subscription with 25,000+ live channels and a 120,000+ title library, watched through a player app. Many homes keep both.
