Smart IPTV (SIPTV) Setup: Upload Your Playlist to the TV Step by Step

Smart IPTV, often shortened to SIPTV, is a simple player app for smart TVs, and it works differently from most. There is no login screen on the TV. Instead, the app shows your TV's MAC address, a 12-character hardware ID. On your phone or computer you open the developer's upload page at siptv.app, type that MAC address and paste your ZorbaIPTV M3U link. Then you restart the app and the channel list appears. It suits people who want IPTV on the TV itself, with no stick or box. Smart IPTV is made by its own developer, not by us. After a short free trial period, the developer charges a one-time activation fee per TV. Below you will find which TVs it runs on, each step in order, a first-run check and fixes for the errors people meet most.

What to have ready before you open Smart IPTV (SIPTV)

  • A smart TV whose app store lists Smart IPTV; LG webOS and Android TV are the most common, and Samsung listings have come and gone
  • Your ZorbaIPTV M3U link from WhatsApp, which is one long web address
  • A phone or computer with a web browser, for the upload page
  • A pen or a phone camera for the MAC address shown by the app

How to set up Smart IPTV (SIPTV), in 12 beginner steps

  1. Check your TV can install Smart IPTV

At the time of writing (October 2026), Smart IPTV is listed in the LG Content Store on many webOS TVs and on Google Play for Android TV. It has been removed from and returned to the Samsung store over the years, so its status there varies. Search your TV store for Smart IPTV and check the publisher before installing.

    Choose a ZorbaIPTV plan

  2. Install and open the app once

Install Smart IPTV from the TV store and open it. The first screen shows a short message and your MAC address. The upload page only accepts a MAC address after the app has been opened at least once on that TV, so do not skip this step.

  3. Photograph the MAC address

The MAC address is six pairs of characters split by colons, such as 3c:cd:93:xx:xx:xx. Take a photo of the screen with your phone. It is easy to confuse 0 with O or 8 with B from across the room, and one wrong character sends your list to nowhere.

  4. Ask us for the M3U link

Message ZorbaIPTV on WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085 for a trial or after you order, and say you use Smart IPTV. We reply, usually in under 15 minutes, with an M3U link. It is a long web address that holds your login inside it, so treat it like a password.

  5. Open the upload page on your phone

On your phone or computer, open a browser and go to siptv.app/mylist. You will see a form with a MAC field, a link field and a few check boxes. This page belongs to the app developer. ZorbaIPTV does not see what you type there.

  6. Fill in the form

Type the MAC address from your photo, colons included. Paste the full M3U link in the link field. Tick Detect EPG so the TV guide loads. On older TVs, also tick Save online if the option is there. Leave the other boxes as they are unless support suggests otherwise.

  7. Press Send and read the reply

Press Send. A green message confirms how many items were added. A red message usually means the MAC address is wrong or the app has not been opened yet on that TV. Fix the cause and send again. You can upload as often as you need.

  8. Close the app fully and reopen it

Smart IPTV only reads the list when it starts. Pressing Back is not enough on many TVs. Exit to the TV home screen, close the app from the recent apps list if your TV has one, then open Smart IPTV again. Large lists can take a minute to appear.

  9. Run a quick first-run check

You should see channel groups. Open one, play a news channel for a minute and press the guide or info key to see the program name. If channels play and names show, the setup works. If not, use the problem list further down before uploading again.

  10. Learn the basic remote keys

Channel up and down move through the list while you watch. The number keys can jump straight to a channel position on most TVs. The app menu holds audio track choices, where a channel offers more than one. Smart IPTV keeps things plain, so there is little else to learn.

  11. Pay the activation when you are happy

Smart IPTV runs as a free trial for a short period, then asks for activation. You pay once per TV at siptv.app/activation, using the same MAC address. This is paid to the developer, not to ZorbaIPTV. Check the developer site for the current price, and keep the receipt.

  12. Do the same for every television

Every TV carries its own MAC address, which means a separate upload and a separate activation for each set. Separately, your ZorbaIPTV plan size (one, two, three or five) caps how many of them stream together. Star the M3U link in WhatsApp, since Smart IPTV has no other sign-in route.

Stuck on one of these steps? Take a photo of your screen with your phone and send it to us on WhatsApp. A real person will tell you which button to press next.

Smart IPTV compared with other players on a TV

Smart IPTV is the quickest way onto a TV with no extra hardware, but it is the most basic of the players. This table helps you decide whether it fits, or whether a stick with a fuller player would be easier for your home.

All app payments go to the developers, never to ZorbaIPTV. The upload form and activation page are explained on the official Smart IPTV website. For a fuller player on the same TV, read the LG smart TV guide or the Samsung smart TV guide, and our smart TV IPTV page covers every TV brand in one place.

Watch out for lookalike apps

TV stores carry several apps with near-identical names, such as SS IPTV, Smart IPTV Pro or IPTV Smart Player. Some are fine apps from other developers; they just work differently. The real Smart IPTV always sends you to siptv.app to upload a list to your MAC address. If an app asks you to pay inside the app before showing any upload instructions, check the publisher name before you pay anything.

SS IPTV, for example, uses a one-time pairing code instead of a MAC address. It also reads M3U links, so your ZorbaIPTV link works there too. Our M3U playlist guide explains what the link is and which other apps open it, and the M3U IPTV page explains why we never hand out free public lists.

Help from a real person on WhatsApp

The MAC address step is where most uploads go wrong, and it is hard to spot from the couch. Send a photo of the TV screen to our WhatsApp at +44 7451 256085. A real person checks it against your upload and tells you what to change. The help is free, 24/7, with every plan and the trial.

No login yet? Get the 24-hour free trial, no card required, and test Smart IPTV on your own TV before paying anyone. Then choose a plan length and screen count. A first order carries a 7-day money-back promise.

Where to find the main menus on Smart IPTV (SIPTV)

App and system updates sometimes rename or move menus. Use this table as a map, not a promise. Seeing a slightly different label? Go with the nearest match, or snap a picture of the TV for us on WhatsApp.

Picture pausing or slow to start? Check these first

  • Your connection: nothing beats a network cable. On wireless, choose the 5 GHz network and keep the router no more than a room or two away.
  • Other traffic at home: large downloads, game updates and cloud backups all share the same line. Pause them while you watch.
  • The app: close it fully and reopen it. If the player has a buffer setting, raising it one step can help.
  • The device: restart the stick, box or TV. Small streaming sticks run better after a fresh start.
  • The channel: some channels come in more than one version. Try another, then tell us which one gave you trouble.

Our streams come in HD, FHD and 4K; the 4K version exists only when the channel itself broadcasts in 4K. Bandwidth and hardware for that are covered in what 4K IPTV requires at home. Common Smart IPTV (SIPTV) setup problems and how to fix them

The upload page says the MAC address is not found

The site only knows a TV after the app has opened on it. Open Smart IPTV on the TV, wait for the MAC screen, then send the form again. Check every pair against your photo.

The upload worked but the TV shows no channels

The app reads the list only at start-up. Close it fully and reopen it. If the list is still empty, compare the MAC on screen with the one you typed.

No playlist or Playlist is empty

The link may have been cut off when pasting. Copy the whole M3U link again from WhatsApp, paste it into the form and press Send. Then restart the app.

The guide shows nothing

Detect EPG was probably left unticked. Upload the link again with it ticked and restart the app. Then check the clock and time zone in the TV settings.

The MAC address changed

TVs often have one MAC for Wi-Fi and another for the network cable. Upload the list to the MAC the app shows now. If you activated the other one, ask the developer before paying twice.

A notice says your app trial is over

The developer of Smart IPTV shows this, not ZorbaIPTV, and your channels plan is fine. Pay the one-time activation at siptv.app/activation against the MAC on the screen.

Channels show an error or will not open

Check that your account has not reached its end date. Then check that no other screen is using your last connection. Too many devices at once will stop the newest one.

The app is slow on an older TV

Long lists tire old TVs. Re-upload with Save online ticked, unplug the TV for a minute and reopen the app. If it is still slow, ask us for a lighter live-only link.

Questions about Smart IPTV (SIPTV) and ZorbaIPTV

Is Smart IPTV free?

Only during a short trial. After that, the developer asks for a one-time activation fee for each TV, paid at siptv.app/activation using that TV's MAC address. The fee is for the player only and goes to the developer, not ZorbaIPTV. Check the developer site for the current price, and test your channels with our free 24-hour trial first.

Where do I enter my login in Smart IPTV?

Not on the TV. Smart IPTV has no login screen. You open siptv.app/mylist on a phone or computer, type the MAC address the TV app shows and paste your ZorbaIPTV M3U link. Tick Detect EPG, press Send, then close and reopen the app on the TV.

What is the difference between SS IPTV and Smart IPTV?

They are rival apps with a similar name. Smart IPTV attaches your playlist to the TV MAC address via siptv.app, while SS IPTV shows a short pairing code that you type on its website. Either one can read a ZorbaIPTV M3U link, so install the one your TV store carries.

Does a factory reset remove my Smart IPTV activation?

Usually not, because the activation is tied to the TV MAC address, which a reset does not change. You do lose the playlist, so open the app once, then upload your ZorbaIPTV link again on siptv.app/mylist and restart the app. Check with the developer if anything looks different.

Can one Smart IPTV activation cover two TVs?

No. Each activation covers one TV, linked to its MAC address, so a second TV needs its own. Separately, your ZorbaIPTV plan decides how many screens play at once: 1, 2, 3 or 5. Two activated TVs watching at the same time need a plan with at least two screens.
